PRIVACY POLICY

Greenside Gambit ("the app") helps groups of golfers track games, scores, and settlements. This policy explains what we collect and why. Short version: we collect the minimum needed to run your rounds, we don't sell anything, and there are no ads.

What we collect

• Account details — your display name, and your email address if you create an account (guest accounts have no email).
• Game data — rounds, scores, handicaps, game settings, and settlement results you and your group enter.
• Push tokens — a device identifier used solely to deliver game notifications you've opted into.

What we don't collect

• No payment or banking information — the app never holds, transfers, or processes money.
• No location tracking.
• No advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics brokers.

Where it lives

Data is stored with Supabase (Postgres hosting) and protected by row-level security: your rounds are visible only to the players in them. Course lookups are served by golfcourseapi.com and include only the course name you search.

Sharing

We don't sell or share your data with third parties for marketing. Round results are shared only when you tap share.

Deletion

Email admin@greensidegambit.com from your account address and we'll delete your account and associated data. Rounds you played with others remain visible to those players with your display name.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll note it in the app and update the date above.
