Common questions

Does the app handle real money?

No. Greenside Gambit tracks the math — skins, points, pots, and who-owes-whom — and can prefill a Venmo payment for you. It never holds, transfers, or processes money and is not a gambling operator.

How are handicaps applied?

Standard WHS/USGA math: your index is converted to a course handicap using slope and rating, strokes are allocated by stroke index, and lobbies can play full, 90%, or 75% allowances — or gross. Nassau matches play strokes off the low player.

A score was entered wrong — can we fix it?

Yes. Tap the player's score on that hole and retype it, any time during the round. Skins, bets, and money recompute automatically and every phone updates live.

What happens with no cell signal?

Everything you enter is saved on your phone instantly and syncs to the group automatically when signal returns.
